The artist in his exhibition

In October 2025 during Stockholm Craft week I curated an exhibition with the title POLITICS! Here you can see pictures of and read more about the exhibition.
I miss clear political engagement in art despite, or perhaps because of, today's climate where the freedom of expression is threatened in many ways. Several of the participants in my exhibition have personal experience of being censored or even excluded from interest organizations due to political engagement. The institutions are afraid, and therefore we may need to create new artist-driven platforms in order to be political.
Skräp is artist Linus Ersson's curatorial project and a meeting place for dialogues between art forms, materials, and politics through exhibitions, performances, and workshops. Skräp aims to be an inclusive and accessible space that challenges pretensions and norms. Read more at the Skräp website
