Linus Ersson is a contemporary material-based artist and curator, born in 1970 and based in Stockholm. He holds an MFA (Master of Fine Art) from Konstfack, Ceramics and Glass 1998. He has completed several follow-up courses, including Research Lab at Konstfack (60 credits) and Art and Architecture at the Royal Institute of Art (10 credits). He has had five solo exhibitions in Stockholm and Oslo and has twice received the Swedish Arts Grants Committee's working grant. In 2012, he was invited to participate in Nature addicts fund academy in Kassel in collaboration with dOCUMENTA(13), and in 2014, he was one of eleven selected craftspeople in the exhibition Attention: Craft at Liljevalchs Art Gallery. As a member of the design and craft group We Work In A Fragile Material, he has exhibited in New York, London, Oslo, Stockholm, and Gothenburg.
